»Ruht wohl« wurde im April 2011 am Konservatorium von Aix-en-Provence von Géraldine Dutroncy und Laurent Camatte uraufgeführt, denen es gewidmet ist. Zum Stück schreibt die Komponistin: »Dieses Stück ist eine kurze Meditation über den zarten Refrain des abschließenden Wiegenlieds aus Bachs Johannespassion und erinnert mich an meine bewegende Entdeckung dieses gewaltigen Meisterwerks vor über 70 Jahren.«

»Ruht wohl« was premiered in April 2011 at the Aix-en-Provence Conservatory by Géraldine Dutroncy and Laurent Camatte, to whom it is dedicated. The composer described her piece as a »A short meditation on the tender refrain of the closing lullaby of Bach's St John Passion, Ruht wohl (‘Rest in Peace’) points back to my moving discovery of this immense masterpiece over 70 years ago.«
